Off the Record is Bromyard and district's community magazine and as such is truly a community project, relying very much on the community for its success.
It has come a long way since its conception in August 2002 when Joan and Peter Dauncey produced a newsletter literally around their kitchen table. Gradually the magazine has grown to 60 pages, with a colour cover and is professionally printed, with a print run of 1400.
The magazine has many contributors, both regular and occasional, who write each month about the news of their club, society, business, school, etc. It also includes thoughts, comments, photographs and anything else at all that we think might interest the local community. We rely totally on our advertisers, without whom we would not be able to exist and hope that this combines to achieve a good mix of information for our readers everywhere.
Off the Record is published on the last Friday of every month and we are very reliant upon the local shops and cafes selling on our behalf. If you have difficulty in obtaining a copy please let us know and we will be happy to help. We also have a subscription service and will post you a copy if you do not live in the area.
We are always ready to welcome contributions, ideas, constructive comments and volunteers to help. Please contact us if you feel that you would like to be part of this exciting and interesting community project.
